2300年前，偉大愛國詩人屈原在汨羅江中投身殉國，衍生出各式各樣的紀念習俗，汨羅也因此成為“端午源頭”“龍舟故里”。

2300 years ago, the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan threw himself into the Miluo River to express his will, and various commemorative customs derived from his death. Miluo has also become the "Birthpalce of Duanwu", and the "Dragon Boat Hometown".

河流水網發達的湖南，湘資沅澧“四水”匯入洞庭。每年的端午期間，波光粼粼的江河里，三湘兒女萬眾齊心，賽龍奪錦，既是寄托國泰民安、風調雨順的美好愿景，又是一代代湖南人團結奮進、拼搏爭先的精神寫照。

In Hunan, where the river network is well-developed, the "four rivers" of Xiang, Zi, Yuan, and Li converge into Dongting. During the Duanwu Festival every year, in the sparkling rivers, Hunan people gather together to compete for the gold medal (in the Dragon Boat Racing).
